What are you waiting for?

I have made some big changes in my life:

  • I lost weight without dieting and kept it off
  • I let go of the idea that I could not be happy unless I was in a relationship
  • I went back to school as an adult to change careers.

Each situation brought up it’s own particular brand of self judgement, but the key to creating each change was the same: changing the way I thought.

For weight loss I learned about “emotional eating”; when a long term relationship wasn’t working and I wanted to be married and start a family I changed my thinking about how it should be and I had a baby on my own! (she’s 18 now); and when I realized the career I had spent 25+ years in was no longer viable I dug deep to change my thinking on what I was capable of.

If I had had a life coach who understood emotional eating it wouldn’t have taken me 5 years to figure it out, and I wouldn’t have been so hard on myself about not getting married—which is why I love working with smart, successful, accomplished women who want to learn more about themselves and their potential.

Why hire a life coach? Do you love talking to your friends about if only you were thinner, or had more money, or a better relationship, then you would be happy? I love my friends, and they’ve carried this girl over many a rough road, but when I hired my first life coach I realized there was a big difference between talking to a friend and having a personal guide to becoming my own best friend and strongest cheerleader.

How it Works

I coach one-on-one over the phone, sessions are 45-60 minutes, once a week. I like to coach by phone because it almost feels like we are in our own little thought bubble coming up with ideas and solutions, plus there is the added benefit that I can work with people anywhere.

I offer support through email during the week, just reach out if you need a little extra love or support.  If you take on something challenging don’t be surprised if I check in with you to see how you are doing with it.
