Break Your Diet Habit

Are you ready to Never Diet Again and get back to your natural body weight?

Sounds too good to be true, right? But it is true, I lost 30+ pounds without dieting, and so can you. I can even tell you how to do it right here: stop eating when you’re full.

When you eat past the point of feeling full (full does not = stuffed, loosening your belt or unbuttoning your pants) those are the calories that put on the extra pounds. Eating when your body is not hungry is emotional eating, it’s trying to fill a hole that can’t be filled with food.

You know diets aren’t the answer, otherwise you wouldn’t still be looking for the “right one”—but you don’t trust yourself without one. That’s because we’ve been trained to believe that without a “diet” we’re incapable of controlling ourselves, but it’s a trap, diets are nothing more than a crutch—and a multi-billion-dollar industry.

What would you be thinking about if you weren’t obsessing about calories, servings, the scale and how tight your clothes are?

To be honest, I think that’s why a lot of people like diets—the loop of obsessing, judging, bargaining, and shame is an easy default zone—what will I eat the next; I’m so good, I didn’t eat anything at lunch; if I don’t eat the protein I can have an extra glass of wine; did anyone see me eat that second cookie—it seems easier than thinking about what you want in life but in fact it’s keeping you from discovering your potential.

What if you could trust yourself to know what you want to eat and how much? what feels good for your body and what drags you down? What would it mean to you if you weren’t in your head judging yourself as “good” or “bad” every time you put something in your mouth, or wanted to?

How it Works

We’ll have a 1 hour weekly call where we’ll find out your particular brand of emotional eating: are you a stress eater, are you hiding from something, are you bored, is there something missing that you’re afraid to go for? Whatever it is we’ll unearth it in a safe, compassionate space, and once it sees the light of day you will be amazed at how easily it begins to lose it’s power!

You’ll have me there by your side with exercises designed to get you in touch with your body and your hunger. I’ll be your partner as you learn how you use food to fill a hole that will only be filled when you feel whole—and what feeling whole means for you.

I am available to you by email between sessions for support, love, a new perspective, maybe a laugh! (The Mayo Clinic says laughing can activate organs that cause endorphins to be released from your brain and relieve stress, I’m in!)

I have been where you are, I was an Emotional Eater and I didn’t even know what that emotional eating was a thing. I know what it’s like to put your life on hold until you lose the weight. I also know, after gaining and losing weight over and over, that losing the weight is not the solution, because you have not addressed the problem: the thoughts and feelings that cause you to overeat. Once you stop eating when you’re not hungry you will lose the excess pounds.

That is exactly what makes this work different: once you understand why you overeat, and learn how to manage those thoughts and emotions, you will have done what it takes to end your struggle with weight and dieting.

This really works. lost 30+ pounds and have had it off for over 10 years. I have not dieted in over 15 years, I eat what I want without guilt, and I feel better physically and emotionally than I did 20 years ago.
